When is the best time to have your party dress fitted?
The first models of the new collection are ready every year from December onwards and completely ready in February. As soon as a dress is available it will be posted on our site, but of course don’t wait too long to make your choice, as some models may run out faster than others. We also have a collection where you can have your dress or pantsuit made to measure in the fabric and color of your choice. But be sure to order in time. It is best to come and choose these at least 4 to 5 months before the party.
There is no such thing as a winter and summer collection for party collection. For early parties we also provide a collection in the autumn from September.
After all, parties are 95% done indoors, so even if you have a party in the winter it is not to put on warm clothes. There are beautiful accessories or details that give certain dresses a winter look.
Practical matters
If you have a party in the months of July, August or September, you should take into account the holiday period. Your dress should then be ready for fitting at the beginning of April/May and your purchase earlier as well. Remember that your partner will normally come to choose his costume after you have chosen your dress. The shorter you set your timing the more pressure he will be under with his planning.
For ladies who are pregnant or wish to become pregnant, there is a special procedure. Ask about it at your fitting.
If you would like to lose a few more pounds by the time of the party, don’t wait to lose them. Usually you will be too late to either find something in your size, or to have it made in time.
Made to fit
Please come on time, we measure you and together determine what size you want to take or order according to your planned weight loss . During the final retouches, the dresses will be adjusted to your final body proportions. It is best to follow our advice, also when determining the model if you have a slightly heavier body size.
If you want to have our seamstresses do the personal adjustments, know that this has to be done in time and that of course these costs will be charged extra. If you have your own seamstress who can do the retouching for you then you may of course also choose this.
